Hi Alisa.

Thanks for your email. It was great meeting Charlie face to face after talking virtually for the past decade and his charming wife in Paris. The book talk was the best we’ve had.
Thanks for your email. It was great meeting Charlie face to face after talking virtually for the past decade and his charming wife in Paris. The book talk was the best we’ve had. You can’t beat the Parisians’ thirst for culture and art. The weather was good, so we sat in cafés. The authors wandered off like stray cats with a core group of me, Charlie and his wife, and Beverly, the president of the Yale Club of Brussles, who announced us keeping the conversation going.

The room was full. Beverly is a smooth and entertaining announcer, so she did a great job of setting the stage and letting everybody know about the donation to Doctors Without Borders and the award-winning and new authors. We passed the books around and the four of us read from our pieces.

We had drinks afterward in the Village Voice Bookshop, and then about 10 people followed us to the chic Les Editeurs restaurant where there were several publishers talking with writers, also young lovers and everybody else.

we all enjoyed the excellent company, dinner and French wine. Wish you were there. Maybe next year?

Yours truly,

Dear Harvard Sq. Editions writers,

I hope you are all doing well. I am writing on behalf of Harvardwood, first, to wish you much success in the launch of the ABOVE GROUND anthology and second, to express my excitement regarding our upcoming joint launch events with Harvardwood Books and Harvard Sq. Editions.

If you have not already heard, we are preparing to host joint events in Los Angeles, New York, and Boston in celebration of this partnership.

In special honor of this collaborative effort, we’d like to offer all of you 6 FREE months of Full Membership to Harvardwood! To sign up for your dues-free Harvardwood membership go to:

Dear Kelley,

I am one of the authors in the Above Ground collection. Jocelyn Morin has asked me to be in touch with you about helping with Harvardwood/Harvard Sq. Editions events in the greater Boston area. I live in Braintree, just south of Boston, so I could, and would like to help out in anyway that I can.

Best,

Stan

Thanks, Stan. Much appreciated. As planning develops for L.A.’s event (approx Nov.5) perhaps we could talk about coordination and communication, perhaps videotaping events. When does Boston hold its Above Ground event? Do you know?

I very much enjoyed your story, particularly because you were able to imply so many plot twists and turns; your compassionate characterizations; and its straightforward language. A page turner!

Best regards,
